The card is valid for five years and serves as proof of professional competence and site safety awareness.

The CSCS Supervisor Card recognises individuals working in supervisory or technical occupations who have achieved the required qualifications and demonstrated a strong understanding of health and safety on construction sites. This card confirms that the holder is qualified to oversee site operations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
To apply for the Supervisor Card, applicants must:
Hold a Construction-Related Supervisory or Technical NVQ or SVQ Level 3 or 4 qualification.
Pass the CITB Specialist Supervisory Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Test.
The card is valid for five years and must be renewed upon expiry by providing updated qualification evidence and test results.
Industry Accreditation (IA): IA cards issued from 1 January 2020 will expire on 31 December 2024 and cannot be renewed under the same route. For assistance, visit cscs.uk.com/IA.
City & Guilds Qualifications: Applicants with City & Guilds certificates (issued after 1 April 2013) must upload an e-certificate showing the certificate authentication code.
Overseas Qualifications: Candidates with international qualifications should contact Ecctis to obtain an Industry Skills Statement before applying.
Occupations Not Covered by CSCS: Some construction occupations fall under other schemes within the CSCS Alliance, which represents 38 partner card schemes displaying the CSCS logo.
