Product Details

The Professionally Qualified Person (PQP) CSCS Card is designed for members of professional organisations recognised by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). It provides formal evidence that the cardholder is a qualified professional working within the construction or built environment industries and is committed to maintaining high standards of competence and safety.

This card is ideal for individuals who are members of approved institutions such as the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), and many other professional bodies across the UK and Ireland.

Eligibility Requirements

To apply for the PQP Card, applicants must:

  • Hold current membership of a CSCS-recognised professional body at a qualifying level.

  • Provide proof of current membership, such as:

    • A valid membership certificate for the current calendar year.

    • A membership card (both sides) showing current membership.

    • A recent confirmation letter or email from the professional body.

    • A payment receipt for the current year’s membership.

    • A dated screenshot showing active membership from the professional body’s website.

  • Pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Test for Managers and Professionals, or the CIC Health and Safety Test.

Membership must be maintained annually. Failure to renew professional body membership, or if membership is revoked, may result in the immediate cancellation of the card without prior notice.

Validity and Renewal

The Professionally Qualified Person Card is valid for five years.
This card cannot be renewed. Once it expires, the applicant must submit a new application with updated membership proof and a valid HS&E Test certificate. Renewal requests for expired cards will be rejected.

Please note that all bookings processed through our platform include comprehensive application management, document verification, and priority handling services designed to simplify the overall process for individuals applying for a CSCS Card or scheduling their CITB Test. The total payable amount displayed at checkout covers both the official scheme charges and associated administrative costs necessary to complete your request efficiently. For transparency, the total charge includes the mandatory CSCS card application fee currently set by the official scheme at £36, plus a administrative and processing service charge which supports customer support, document assistance, and managed submission. Similarly, for CITB test bookings, the overall amount reflects the standard test cost of £22.50 plus administrative and processing service charge, confirmation handling, and rescheduling support where required. Our role is to assist candidates in completing their applications smoothly and accurately while ensuring compliance with current scheme requirements. This consolidated pricing structure allows applicants to benefit from managed processing without needing to engage directly with multiple official portals or documentation processes.
